Well after speaking to Nwmanitou, i thought i would have a go at making a sling for the very first time, now it was not easy, but i done it, it was very hard on the hands, and it was fun to actually make one, and i wont be making another one in a hurry, but now i do know how to make a sling and... While scrolling through instagram, I came across a reel from the user dog.north in which she showcases an old native american hunting weapon he called a 'tibeash sling stick', which consisted of a stick very similar to an atlatl, but with a divot burned into it to hold a stone, and with a string... I thought this was unique enough to share.
